Self Help: How reading is a great way to learn, grow, and heal

One of my favorite pastimes is reading. I absolutely adore being cuddled up with my nose in a book and escaping someplace else. I also love using reading as a method to improve myself and improve my life. When I hit a very low point in my life a while back I had no idea how to move forward until I discovered a whole world of self-help books written by experts and experienced individuals that could help guide me through my hardships.

The first book I read that I can confidently say changed my life is called The Untethered Soul by Michael A Singer. Singer gives a whole new way of looking at life and looking at yourself as a whole. The book offers guidance through healing and eventually being able to reach a constant state of happiness and live your best life. I read that book over a year ago and it’s one that I find myself picking up time and time again for reminders and assistance in life.

The book that I am currently reading is called Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza. This book is absolutely amazing so far. Dr. Dispenza gives scientific proof of how our thoughts and minds control our lives and our own realities. He gives wisdom and advice on how to change your realities if interested as well as meditations and guidance.

Books truly are one of the most amazing resources that humans have available to them. They are a great way to not only expand your standard knowledge but also grow your mind and your way of thinking. I know since becoming an avid reader I look at the world in a completely different light.
